Job Description:

As a WordPress Developer at Beyond Edge Business Solutions, you will be responsible for creating dynamic, high-performing, and responsive WordPress websites for our diverse range of clients. You will be instrumental in both the front-end and back-end development of WordPress projects, including theme and plugin customization, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client specifications. You will also work to optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance, ensuring that they provide an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development & Customization: Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client needs, ensuring smooth integration with third-party tools and APIs.
Front-End and Back-End Integration: Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement responsive designs while ensuring back-end functionality, including CMS configuration and database management.
Optimization & Maintenance: Continuously optimize websites for speed, performance, and security, and ensure regular updates to WordPress core, plugins, and themes.
Collaboration & Project Management: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality websites on time. Handle website migrations, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio of custom-built websites.
In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Proficiency in building custom themes, plugins, and integrating third-party APIs.
Strong understanding of website optimization techniques for performance, security, and SEO.
Experience with common WordPress plugins and familiarity with content management systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, as well as knowledge of version control (Git).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple projects efficiently.
